Los Angeles Sailer Kicking Camp recap
Chris Sailer Kicking recently kicked off its Nike Summer Tour with the first stop in Los Angeles. The tour will feature five regional camps and showcase the best kicking, punting and long-snapping talent America has to offer. These camps offer the opportunity to compete at the highest level and prepare for the upcoming 2011 season. California always brings in fantastic West Coast talent and this crop did not disappoint.
Field goal champions
Joey Cejudo (Chino Hills, Calif./Chino Hills) -- The Class of 2011 prospect showed why college coaches should take notice. Cejudo is a big, tall, strong kicker that shows great potential. He hit his biggest kicks when it counted most connecting from beyond 55 yards out. Cejudo would be a nice fit for any college looking to add depth late.
Dylan Pritchard (Sherman Oaks, Calif./Notre Dame) -- Pritchard is a top 50 national kicking prospect in the Class of 2012. He is a great athlete with a tremendous leg that shows nice upside. Pritchard connected on multiple field goals of 50-plus yards with excellent height.

Kickoff champion
Gavin Jernigan (Manhattan Beach, Calif./Mira Costa) -- Jernigan is one of the top 2012 high school kickoff/punt combo prospects on the West Coast. He has the size and potential to play at the D1 level. Jernigan has the ability to hit kickoffs 70-plus yards and punts 50-plus yards with great hang-time.
Punt champion
Dylan Ausherman (Visalia, Calif./College of the Sequoias) -- Ausherman is a tremendous punting prospect. He proved that he belongs in the top 10 nationally ranked 2012 punters. He hit multiple balls more than 60 yards with 5-plus second hang-time. He is also solid on kickoffs. Ausherman is a big-time D1 scholarship prospect. He was the best overall talent at the camp.
Long snapping champion
Jeff Overbaugh (Anchorage, Alaska/Service) -- Overbaugh is coming off a dominant Top 12 and Event Elite performance. He looked very smooth and did extremely well throughout the camp. His great size and solid attitude make him an easy scholarship choice for some lucky college next year.
Other long snapping standouts included: Reid Ferguson (Buford, Ga./Buford), Scott Daly (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove) and Nathan Gibbs (Chino Hills, Calif./Chino Hills).
Best underclassman kicker
Jordan Dascalo (Woodland Hills, Calif./Taft) -- Jordan is going to be a top 2013 national prospect. He is a talented combo player that continues to show outstanding improvement in every area. He has the strength, athleticism, work ethic, and mental toughness to be a great one.
Best underclassman long snapper
Cole Mazza (Bakersfield, Calif./Liberty) -- Cole is becoming more and more dominant with each passing day. He has D1 size and already snaps beyond college speeds. He should easily be the youngest long snapper to be offered a full scholarship.
