Barry Sanders to announce decision
Running back Barry J. Sanders (Oklahoma City/Heritage Hall) plans to choose between Stanford and Oklahoma State when he announces his decision Saturday at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Sanders, the son of Oklahoma State legend and Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders, is ranked No. 6 in the nation at running back and No. 78 overall in the ESPNU top 150.
Despite reports Thursday in the Tulsa World and Daily Oklahoman that Sanders has already decided on playing for Stanford, he said rumors of his commitment have not given him second thoughts about his decision.
"No, nothing changed because of today," Sanders told ESPN Recruiting Nation's Robert Przybylo. "I talked to a couple of friends. I still feel good. Every day I feel more comfortable with my decision."
