Robert Nkemdiche meets Shaq
Nkemdiche, the nation's No. 1 high school prospect, met former Tigers great Shaquille O'Neal as he moves closer to choosing a school.
Nkemdiche enjoyed a rousing start to his time in Louisiana thanks to an appearance by O'Neal during dinner at Texas De Brazil. Tigers running back Jeremy Hill tweeted a photo of himself, Nkemdiche, O'Neal and others at the restaurant.
Nkemdiche is expected to visit LSU through the weekend.
According to multiple reports, the Tigers are still facing an uphill climb to sign Nkemdiche, a 6-foot-5, 265-pound defensive end.
Nkemdiche's older brother, Denzel, plays linebacker for Mississippi, and their mother, Beverly, has been vocal in her desire that they play together.
Nkemdiche, who had orginally planned on attending Clemson before decommiting in December, is expected to make his college choice Wednesday morning on ESPNU.
