ESPN NBA front office Insider Tom Penn joins The Herd with Colin Cowherd to discuss the possibility of the Miami Heat pulling off a sign-and-trade to land free agent power forward LaMarcus Aldridge for Chris Bosh.
In Penn's proposed deal, the Heat land a younger and edgier player in Aldridge while the Portland Trail Blazers, Aldridge's former team, get Bosh instead of losing their star player without getting anything in return.
"There is a super compelling story in Miami," Penn said. "And you know Pat Riley laid his championship rings in front of LaMarcus and said, ‘I didn’t get these as a coach, I got these as an executive. If you come here, we’ll do it again and again.' That is interesting."
