The play that sealed Michigan State's win

Purdue put a scare into the No. 2 Spartans today -- and would have had a shot to pull the upset if this late fourth-down play went its way. MSU won 24-21.

Despite loss David Blough and Markell Jones provide some hope for Purdue the rest of the way. Good comeback but too many early errors. Michigan State has a lot of work to do. Offense went to sleep after good start. Spartans need Jack Conklin back on the field.

Michigan State not out of the woods

Purdue's Markell Jones shows off some impressive speed for this long TD which cut the Boilermakers' deficit to just 7 in the fourth quarter.

Tom Izzo gives Spartans football props

If the Spartans basketball coach could put one player on the hardwood he'd take LJ Scott. Said Izzo: "I'd take the freshman running back. He's had a heck of a game. I think they're a better offensive team than they've been over the years."
