Sources: Mavs agree to deal with John Jenkins

The former Hawks guard agreed to a partially guaranteed three-year contract with the Mavs after making 40.4 percent of his 3-point shots last season.

Hawks take care of Mavs in Vegas

Glenn Robinson III finished with 20 points to lead the Hawks to a quarterfinal victory over the Mavericks at Las Vegas Summer League. Atlanta will face San Antonio in tomorrow's semifinal round.

Petteway leading the way for Hawks

Terran Petteway came into today averaging 10.0 PPG in Las Vegas. He already has 13 at halftime on 6-of-6 shooting, giving the Hawks a 46-39 lead over the Mavericks in the quarterfinals.


Mavs leading Hawks 26-25

Jordan Crawford (4 pts, 1 ast) paced a balanced attack as the Mavs took a 1-point lead over the Hawks at the end of the first quarter in Las Vegas. Six different Dallas players scored in the first quarter.


Mavs face Hawks in Vegas playoffs

Second-year pro Dwight Powell (19.2 PPG) has been one of the breakout stars of Las Vegas Summer League. He'll try to keep his summer going against the Hawks in the quarterfinals.


Hawks advance to take on Spurs

Atlanta lost to the Nuggets during the preliminary stage, but an 82-73 win over Denver in the Las Vegas Summer League playoffs has the Hawks moving on to the quarterfinals. Brandon Ashley tallied 18 points and 8 boards.

Muscala leads Hawks past Heat

Mike Muscala collected 15 points and 12 rebounds in the Atlanta Hawks' 75-64 win over the Miami Heat in Vegas summer play on Wednesday night. The dozen boards eclipsed Muscala's total for the two previous games. Atlanta improved to 2-2.

Hawks still need size on the wing

Korver's limitations are worth it

The Atlanta Hawks' Kyle Korver is pretty much a 3-and-D wing who will earn $5.7 million next season. That lands Korver the starting shooting guard position on Patrick Dorsey's 13-man team that fits under the 2015-16 NBA salary cap of $70 million. Best team NBA money can buy

Report: How Budenholzer will replace Carroll

The Atlanta Hawks lost starting small forward DeMarre Carroll last week as he signed a four-year, $58 million contract with the Toronto Raptors. The Hawks need to fill that spot and president of basketball operations/head coach Mike Budenholzer already has a plan going into next season.
