Clippers forward Blake Griffin underwent a second procedure this week on his broke right hand, sources told ESPN. The procedure was a part of the original surgery last week, so sources said the 4-6 week timeframe for his return remains unchanged.

J.A. Adande ESPN Senior Writer

The Clippers' 108-102 loss to the Timberwolves included a pivotal technical foul on Chris Paul right after J.J. Redick fouled Ricky Rubio with 20 seconds remaining and Minnesota leading, 102-100. Asked what was said, Paul said: "Nothing." Coach Doc Rivers said he was told the technical was called for an "overt clap." Rubio made the technical free throw, then missed one of the two free throws for the common foul, leaving the Timberwolves' lead at four points. There's a backstory to the technical foul: it was called by second-year official Lauren Holtkamp. Last season Paul was fined $25,000 by the NBA after he criticized her for a technical she called on him and said "this might not be for her."
