"In the last two seasons, it's been a blur," Hardy said. Now that I'm back, I don't reminisce. I don't look back. I need to get to progress."

Over the last 20 years there have been six double-digit underdogs in the Red River Showdown. Four times those underdogs have covered. And twice, they have won outright, including two years ago when Texas defeated Oklahoma 36-20 as a 13-point underdog. The 1-4 Longhorns are 17-point underdogs heading into Saturday against the Sooners.
