Texas Tech has removed LB Dakota Allen from the team, "due to a failure to uphold student-athlete expectations." Allen was Tech's top returning tackler from last year, which is a blow for a defense that was among the nation's worst in 2015 at stopping the run. Offensive linemen Robert Castaneda and Trace Ellison were also dismissed.

Blue Jays walk off for second straight night (0:30)

The Blue Jays with the walk-off win over the Rangers for the second night in a row, Russell Martin's base hit to deep right field plating the winning run. Justin Smoak, last night's hero, drew a key walk off Tony Barnette. The Texas bullpen, a supposed strength, is now 3-9 with a 4.98 ERA.
