The Cowboys have returned to the basketball court for their last pick taking Baylor power forward turned tight end Rico Gathers. The Cowboys held a private workout for Gathers. They have had success in the past drafting basketball players with Hall of Famer Rayfield Wright and Cornell Green. They drafted Pat Riley in 1967.
