The Oklahoma Sooners and UCLA Bruins have agreed to a home-and-home series in 2018 and 2019, the schools announced Wednesday.

Oklahoma will host the Bruins in Norman on Sept. 8, 2018, and the Sooners will visit the Rose Bowl on Sept. 14, 2019.

"We're delighted to again add UCLA's tradition-rich program to our schedule," OU athletic director Joe Castiglione said in a statement. "… We will continue to schedule games of this kind because they benefit our program competitively and because we believe this approach is best for the sport."

Oklahoma holds a 3-1 advantage in its all-time series against the Bruins -- all played since 1986. The Bruins won the last meeting, 41-24, in 2005.

The Sooners also added Akron to its nonconference schedule for 2015.

Oklahoma and LSU are working to move games previously announced for 2018-19 to dates in later years.
