Hicks Sports Group announced that Pittsburgh attorney Chuck Greenberg and his advisers met with Rangers officials at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington on Wednesday.
Greenberg, like Jim Crane and his group on Tuesday, met with club president Nolan Ryan, general manager Jon Daniels and others. Ryan has talked several times with Greenberg and if his group ends up purchasing the Rangers, it's probable that Ryan would be a minority owner.
Hicks Sports Group declined further comment on the meetings, only to say in the release that they were "routine and part of the normal due diligence process."
At least one other group will be coming to Arlington, probably next week.
