Texas is down to Thad Bosley, Clint Hurdle, Rusty Greer and Gerald Perry. General manager Jon Daniels was impressed by all of them and feels like any of the four would be good additions to the staff. The club could decide something Tuesday.
The club is stressing situational hitting and finding ways to manufacture runs so that when the bats are swinging great every night, the Rangers can score runs more consistently. Manager Ron Washington said he isn't trying to tell his team not to hit homers. But he wants them to be able to better adjust to the situations.
Who do you think can best help with that? Who would you hire and why?
