Once Clint Hurdle is officially announced as the hitting coach -- likely today -- the Rangers will have all of their major league coaching positions filled. Then they can move on to the players.
What is the first priority? We know this club could use a situational lefty in the bullpen, a right-handed bat and help at middle relief. Of course, they'll also search the market for viable starters they can add to the rotation.
And that's just the start. They've also got decisions to make on players that were with the Rangers last year, primarily Marlon Byrd. The outfielder wants a multi-year deal and should get one. Will the Rangers try to re-sign him? Will they be able to afford him?
What would be your top priority this offseason if you were GM Jon Daniels?
