USA Hockey announced Tuesday that the 2010 Olympic team will be revealed on Jan. 1 as part of the Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic.
Stars center Mike Modano hopes to be a part of that team. Defenseman Matt Niskanen and forward Toby Petersen are also U.S.-born players on the current Stars roster.
