I say yes. Stars coach Marc Crawford is sure leaning that way. He said after Thursday's practice that he'd wait and see, but indicated that Turco was well rested and could handle it. At this point in the season and with the Stars' schedule, I'd throw him out there and see what happens. He played well on Wednesday and has been looking good lately as well.
The Stars play Vancouver on Friday and Minnesota on Saturday. But they don't play again until next Thursday in San Jose. So I say turn Turco loose this weekend and he can get a break next week. The schedule gets a little more hectic later in the month and that's when you'll need Alex Auld.
