Colby Lewis to re-sign with Texas

The Texas Rangers have agreed to terms with right-handed pitcher Colby Lewis on a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training.

If Lewis makes the major league team, he'll make $2 million in base salary and can earn up to another $4 million in incentives.

Lewis, 34, hasn't pitched in the majors since the midway though the 2012 season. He had surgery to repair a torn flexor in his elbow and during this past season had hip surgery.
