Ryan Garbutt signs Stars extension

DALLAS -- The Dallas Stars have signed forward Ryan Garbutt to a three-year, $5.4 million contract extension.

Garbutt has a career-high 18 points with 10 goals and eight assists in 46 games this season. He is third on the team in hits with 81 and fourth in shots with 105.

Garbutt, 28, has 31 points in 102 games over three seasons for the Stars. He signed with Dallas as a free agent in 2011.
