Cowboys working to get under cap

The Dallas Cowboys will start their work in getting under the $133 million salary cap by restructuring the contracts of linebacker Sean Lee and cornerback Orlando Scandrick on Tuesday, according to sources.

The moves will create $6.8 million in cap room with the Cowboys still needing to shave roughly $11 million to get under the cap by March 11. The Cowboys will create an additional $10 million in space when they restructure the contract of quarterback Tony Romo.
