Derek Holland throws simulated game

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Rangers left-hander Derek Holland went to the Globe Life Park mound for a live batting practice session four hours in advance of Saturday's 3:05 start against Minnesota.

Holland threw 67 pitches in a simulated three-inning workout, facing Frisco (AA) hitters Edwin Garcia, Odubel Herrera and Teodoro Martinez.
