Rangers send down catcher Teagarden

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Texas Rangers made a change at catcher.

Taylor Teagarden, considered the starting catcher after Jarrod Saltalamacchia went on the disabled list early in the season, was sent to Triple-A Oklahoma City, and Max Ramirez was recalled to take his place. Saltalamacchia was activated off the 15-day disabled list and optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
