North Texas QB might miss rest of year

North Texas quarterback Nathan Tune will be sidelined at least six weeks and possibly the rest of the season after dislocating his right hip in Saturday night's loss to Rice.

Tune, a redshirt senior in his first season as a starter, was injured during the final drive of the 32-31 loss and underwent surgery that night. Sophomore Derek Thompson replaces Tune and will start Saturday's game at Army.
