Rangers' Scott Feldman has surgery

Texas Rangers starter Scott Feldman had microfracture surgery on his right knee Wednesday and won't throw for three months. The club said he will be limited at the start of spring training because of the surgery.

Feldman, 27, was on the 15-day disabled list from Aug. 23 to Sept. 6 this season with a bone bruise in that knee after suffering the injury warming up for the seventh inning on Aug. 21 at Baltimore.
