Brendan Haywood suspended one game

SAN ANTONIO -- Dallas Mavericks backup center Brendan Haywood was suspended for Friday's game for a violation of team rules, coach Rick Carlisle said.

Haywood missed Friday's 103-94 win over the San Antonio Spurs and will be eligible to play Saturday night's home game against the Miami Heat.
