Stephen McGee runs Cowboys offense

IRVING, Texas -- Third-string quarterback Stephen McGee took a significant step Wednesday toward making his first start for the Dallas Cowboys.

McGee took all the practice snaps with the starting offense while Jon Kitna sat out due to a strained left oblique.
