Michael Young gets 2,000th career hit

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Texas Rangers' Michael Young reached the 2,000-hit mark in an unexpected way.

Young, who entered Sunday's game against the Cleveland Indians with 1,998 career hits, sent slow rollers down the third-base line for singles in the fifth and seventh innings off Indians starter Josh Tomlin.
