Delayed Game 4 starts

DETROIT -- For the third time in this AL Championship Series, Mother Nature has interfered. A light, but steady and persistent rain forced Game 4 of the ALCS to start at 6:30 p.m. ET, more than two hours past schedule.

The tarp was taken off the field at 5:50 p.m., so neither team was able to take batting practice outside.

Rangers left-hander Matt Harrison and Tigers right-hander Rick Porcello were scheduled to pitch in the game with the Rangers leading 2-1 in the series.
