Tony Romo took pregame injection

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo took a pain-killing injection before Sunday's 31-14 loss to the New York Giants because of the bruised right hand he suffered last week.

Romo went into the locker room early in pregame warm-ups to take the shot.
