Josh Hamilton had offseason surgery

ARLINGTON, Texas -- It was clear that Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton was hurting during the 2011 World Series. On Thursday, Hamilton revealed the extent of his injuries, which required offseason surgery.

Hamilton said three of his adductors, which help pull the knees and thighs together, were detached in his left leg.
