Jewish school back in Texas tourney

An Orthodox Jewish high school basketball team from Houston has won a reprieve that will allow it to play a state playoff game at a time that doesn't conflict with the Sabbath.

Robert M. Beren Academy was scheduled to play its Class 2A state semifinal game against Dallas Covenant at 9 p.m. local time Friday in Mansfield, southeast of Fort Worth.
