Top seed Cilic cruises into quarters

Top-seeded Marin Cilic cruised into the quarterfinals of the $125,000 Dallas Tennis Classic, but a surprise awaits him Friday in the ATP Tour Challenger event.

Next up for Cilic is a meeting with Frank Dancevic after the 175th-ranked Canadian became the only qualifier to reach the final eight with a 7-6 (7-3), 4-6, 6-3 upset of fifth-seeded Yen-Hsun Lu of Chinese Tapei on a blustery Thursday at the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Las Colinas.
