Jason Kidd, Jason Terry sit out

DALLAS -- Jason Kidd did not play in Saturday night's road game against the Chicago Bulls as part of a preventative maintenance plan for the Dallas Mavericks' 39-year-old point guard.

The 93-83 loss in Chicago was the 17th game that Kidd has missed this season. He has been sidelined by calf, back and groin injuries and has sat out three games to rest.
