Jerry Jones supports Dez Bryant

OXNARD, Calif. -- Dallas Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said Sunday he hasn't spoken with Dez Bryant regarding the troubled wide receiver's legal issues.

Jones said he didn't know why a conversation hasn't occurred and didn't have a timetable for when it may happen.

Bryant did speak with Cowboys coach Jason Garrett last week after the receiver was arrested and charged with a Class A misdemeanor for allegedly hitting his mother, Angela Bryant.
