Elvis Andrus exits with hurt shoulder

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Texas All-Star shortstop Elvis Andrus left in the ninth inning of Sunday's Sunday 7-6 loss at Kansas City because of pain in his right shoulder.

Andrus, who was 2 for 5 with a triple and two RBIs, is hitting .296. He injured his shoulder on a slide.

"He said he had some soreness in his right shoulder," Rangers manager Ron Washington said. "He's day to day. He'll probably be in there tomorrow."
