Josh Hamilton to miss Seattle series

SEATTLE -- The Rangers will be without Josh Hamilton this weekend in Seattle. The outfielder returned to Texas on Friday for tests on his blurred vision, and the team decided to keep him there through the weekend.

The warning signs came before Thursday's series finale against the Angels. Manager Ron Washington said Hamilton was falling off balance while taking grounders. He then had trouble judging fly balls, and that was the last straw.
