Yu Darvish (neck) still on track

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington said starting pitcher Yu Darvish is still on track to make his scheduled outing on Sunday.

However, Washington told ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM's Eric Nadel that if Darvish is 100 percent healthy, he could start on Friday against the Los Angeles Angels.

Washington had said earlier on Wednesday that it was a "consideration" Darvish would start prior to his scheduled outing Sunday.
