Justin Durant, Will Allen sign deals

IRVING, Texas -- With precious little salary-cap space at the start of the day, the Dallas Cowboys restructured the contract of quarterback Kyle Orton and released wide receiver Anthony Armstrong in order to sign linebacker Justin Durant and safety Will Allen.

The Orton and Armstrong moves freed up roughly $1 million of space for the Cowboys, who were $102,005 under the cap at the beginning of the day. Durant received a two-year deal, and Allen received a one-year deal.
