Elvis Andrus signs 8-year extension

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Elvis Andrus wants to win a World Series. And he wants to win it with the Rangers.

Bringing a world title to Texas, manager Ron Washington and his love for the Dallas-Fort Worth area highlighted the reasons Andrus gave for signing an eight-year, $120 million contract extension with the Rangers that was formally announced Thursday at Rangers Ballpark at Arlington.
