Matt Harrison placed on DL

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Texas Rangers took the cautious route with starting pitcher Matt Harrison, placing him on the 15-day disabled with an inflamed nerve in his lower back, retroactive to Saturday.

Right-hander Justin Grimm has been called up from Triple-A Round Rock to start the series opener at Seattle on Thursday night.
