Talks end between Cowboys, Spencer

Contract talks between the Dallas Cowboys and defensive end Anthony Spencer have ended, according to a source.

Spencer, who was franchised at $10.6 million, has until July 15 to work a deal with the Cowboys. If not, he will become a free agent when the season ends.

But with these latest developments, Spencer will enter the 2013 season with the expectation that he will become a free agent.
