Yu Darvish's exam goes well

BALTIMORE -- The Texas Rangers placed right-hander Yu Darvish on the 15-day disabled list on Thursday, but they received some good news from his examination with the team's orthopedist.

Darvish returned to Texas to be checked out by Dr. Keith Meister on Thursday, and assistant general manager Thad Levine said the exam was "totally normal," and no MRI or any scans were needed. Darvish was placed on the DL, retroactive to Sunday, with a right trapezius strain and is eligible to come ...
