Rangers shut down Matt Harrison

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Texas Rangers starting pitcher Matt Harrison will not pitch again this season after having issues with his surgically repaired back following a recent rehab start.

Harrison threw 60 pitches on Friday for Triple-A Round Rock but had to be removed from the game three pitches into the fourth inning after experiencing numbness in his left hand.
