SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Texas Rangers outfielder Shin-Soo Choo has what assistant general manager Thad Levine described as "spring training arm" and is listed as day to day.

Levine said Choo's triceps was a bit sore, but that it is nothing serious. Choo is listed as day-to-day and is not in the lineup for Sunday's Cactus League game with the Chicago White Sox.

"It's probably more muscular than anything, but we're going to give him a day or two to let it calm down," Levine said.

Engel Beltre is in left field Sunday in place of Choo.

Choo was acquired this offseason to be the Rangers' left fielder and leadoff hitter, signing a seven-year deal worth $130 million.
