Ogando had been out with a groin injury since he was hurt making his only start of the season on June 10 in San Francisco. He is expected to return to his role in the bullpen.
"I feel like nothing is wrong," Ogando said. "I can pitch two innings. I said I can pitch three if they want."
Uehara, who has a right lat strain, suffered a setback during his minor-league rehab assignment and will need a few more days before returning, a team spokesman said.
"I don't think he pushed it," Rangers manager Ron Washington said. "Maybe this is normal. It might not be anything."
Washington said Uehara will rest during the two games in Oakland and possibly go back on a rehab assignment this upcoming weekend.
"If everything goes well here, then we'll make that decision," Washington said. "We gotta make sure he's not feeling anything so when we take him off that DL, he's ready to go."
Torrealba can remain on paternity leave for up to three days.
