DALLAS -- Mavericks forward Shawn Marion fractured his left pinkie finger during the third quarter of Sunday's game while trying to make a defensive play, but he said he doesn't expect it to sideline him.

Dallas lost to the Miami Heat, 105-94, and play the Denver Nuggets at home on Monday night.

Marion, who has long played with a disfigured pinkie that sticks out at an angle as a result of multiple breaks from his career, said it was painful but that he's "a warrior."

X-rays after Sunday's game revealed the fracture.

Marion started at small forward and totaled 29 minutes in the loss, but he did not play in the fourth quarter, along with three other starters as Dallas trailed, 97-65, after the third.

He finished with 12 points, six rebounds, three assists and three turnovers.
