DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks' roster is back to full strength, with the exception of point guard Jason Kidd, who isn't quite ready to return from a strained right calf.

Center Brendan Haywood (back) and forward Lamar Odom (stomach ailment) returned to their normal roles for Friday night's game against the Indiana Pacers after sitting out Wednesday's loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Small forward Shawn Marion started against the Pacers despite suffering a hyperextended knee against Oklahoma City. Marion returned after a timeout after Thunder center Kendrick Perkins crashed into his leg during a scramble for a loose ball.

"I'm a little sore," said Marion, who believes his weight training prevented a serious injury. "I'll be fine."

Kidd said Wednesday that he feels "a lot better," but there still isn't a timetable for his return from a strained right calf.

Kidd will miss at least the next two games. The Mavericks' medical staff will re-evaluate him at some point next week, though Kidd said he isn't sure if it will be before the trip to Denver to play the Nuggets on Wednesday night.

"I feel a lot better, so we'll see over the weekend what happens," Kidd said. "I'm just riding the bike and letting the calf heal, but honestly, I feel great. We're going to start picking things up here running on a treadmill this weekend."

Added coach Rick Carlisle: "He's getting closer, but he's not close yet."
