Jordan Woy, Adams' agent, said his client has other teams on his list, but for now the Steelers decided to take a look.
In 2009, Adams had team-highs in penalties (12), sacks allowed (eight) and quarterback pressures allowed (34). However, the Cowboys coaches valued his play during a season in which he participated in 1,081 snaps. Once the season ended, Adams was let go when the Cowboys elected to give Doug Free the starting job at left tackle.
Several teams have expressed interest in Adams, including the Washington Redskins.
