Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones was active for Saturday's NFC East game against Philadelphia after not practicing all week due to a sore hamstring.

He ran for 24 yards on four carries in the Cowboys' 20-7 loss.

Outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware (stinger), nose tackle Jay Ratliff (rib muscle strain), receiver Laurent Robinson (shoulder) and cornerback Mike Jenkins (shoulder) were among the other Cowboys listed as questionable, but all were also active Saturday. They were all limited participants in practice this week.

Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel and Cowboys kick returner and backup receiver Kevin Ogletree were among the inactives for the game. Samuel aggravated a hamstring injury earlier in the week and wasn't expected to play.

Also out for Dallas: receiver Andre Holmes, safety Danny McCray, fullback Shaun Chapas, offensive linemen David Arkin and Derrick Dockery and nose tackle Josh Brent.

Also out for the Eagles: defensive linemen Brandon Graham, Trevor Laws and Cedric Thornton, offensive linemen Julian Vandervelde and Winston Justice, and linebacker Greg Lloyd.

The Giants win in Saturday's early game against the Jets eliminated the Eagles, making the Cowboys-Giants meeting on New Year's Day the NFC East title game.

Jones, who was coming off back-to-back 100-yard rushing games for the first time in his career, is the only one of the four tailbacks who opened the season with the Cowboys who remains on the team's roster.

"It would surprise me if Felix does not go," owner/general manager Jerry Jones said Friday on KRLD-FM. "On the other hand, it would be madness not to recognize that he hasn't practiced all week, so you better have another plan in place."

Twelve-year veteran Sammy Morris backed up Jones, less than two weeks after signing with the Cowboys. Morris, who had 12 carries for 53 yards in his Dallas debut during last week's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, signed with the Cowboys after rookie starter DeMarco Murray was placed on injured reserve because of a fractured ankle that required surgery.

The Cowboys put rookie third-string running back Phillip Tanner on injured reserve the previous week because of a hamstring strain. They cut four-year veteran Tashard Choice, who is now on the Buffalo Bills' roster, earlier this season.

The Cowboys promoted running back Chauncey Washington from the practice squad to provide depth. Washington, who has only four carries in nine career games, is likely to fill Morris' roles on special teams.

Jones, a first-round pick in 2008, has struggled to stay healthy throughout his career. He has missed a total of 16 games due to toe, hamstring, knee and ankle injuries, including four games this season when Murray seized the starting role.

Jones has had two of his four career 100-yard games in the two weeks since Murray suffered the fractured ankle. He rushed for 106 yards on 16 carries in a Dec. 11 loss to the New York Giants, when Murray was injured in the first half, and gained 108 yards on a career-high-tying 22 carries against the Buccaneers.

Jones needed an IV at halftime of the Tampa Bay game and left the game after feeling tightness in his hamstring during the fourth quarter.
