IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware said Friday that he'll play with a brace on his right shoulder, which keeps popping out, during Sunday's regular-season finale against the Washington Redskins.
Ware, who also has a hyperextended right elbow, hasn't practiced all week but is listed as probable on the Cowboys' official injury report. The winner of Sunday night's game will clinch the NFC East title.
The Pro Bowler, who said Thursday that he might need offseason surgery on the shoulder, didn't wear a brace during last week's overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Also, inside linebacker Ernie Sims is listed as questionable on the injury report despite being a full participant. Sims must pass a contact test either Saturday or Sunday in order to play. Sims suffered a concussion in a victory over Pittsburgh two weeks ago, then suffered dizzy spells in the first half of the Saints game.
Sims passed all the written and oral tests last week but didn't take a contact test.
"I don't want to put the team in a bad situation," Sims said after Friday's practice. "I feel good, like I did last week."
Victor Butler was limited in practice with a groin injury but was listed as probable.
Rookie safety Matt Johnson, who is on the reserve/injured returnable list, was eligible to practice on Friday but didn't. Johnson said he'll practice next week, if the Cowboys season is ongoing.
