DALLAS -- Dallas Stars veteran defenseman Stephane Robidas suffered a fracture in his right leg when he went down and slid into the boards during the second period of Friday night's game against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Robidas was taken to UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. The Stars will know more about the injury after further evaluation, a club official said.

Robidas, 36, is in his 11th season with Dallas, the longest-tenured Stars player along with defenseman Trevor Daley. Robidas has five points and is a plus-7 in plus-minus this season.
